About Craig Dubh Adventures
About your Guide
Craig was born near Glasgow in the Central Belt of Scotland. Through family camping trips and an adventurous childhood, he developed a fascination for high mountains and wild, remote places. Now living in Ballachulish, he can be found either tramping his local hills or exploring trails on his mountain bike.
Craig is passionate about Scottish history and has built up an enviable knowledge of the people, places and events which have shaped the Scotland we know today. His ability to explain and lace this history together in a clear and humorous manner make a day out with him unique and memorable. Whether ascending a well known mountain, biking through a remote glen or partaking in a skills course you can be assured that he knows a story or two to keep you entertained!
Craig has worked for a variety of outdoor organisations, and since he began his career back in 2008 outdoor education has been the central pillar of his work ethos. From leading groups of school children on gorge walks and cliff jumping adventures, to teaching University students the skills required to become confident and competent outdoor practitioners themselves, Craig has a wealth of experience and knowledge of working with any age group or ability. This makes him an easy going, flexible and outgoing guide who is ready to answer your questions and help you reach your goals.
